During the Film Festival on 17 October the talented Ukrainian film director hold a master-class on theme "Young Ukrainian Cinema". The audience was particularly got interested by the fact that that at the time of the meeting, the film director’s team continued shootings of the third part of the international film project “My childhood”. The project idea is to create three short story films in three countries: Ukraine, Georgia and Italy. The film “My University”, that was shot in October of this year in Toskana, will become the final part of the trilogy.
Therefore, the festival participants directly had an opportunity to plunge into the moment of film creation by the Ukrainian team in Italy. After presentation part, combining the screening of trilogy trailer, description of the project and demonstration of iconographic materials, there was a live discussion on nuances of film production in Ukraine and Europe.
A special part of the master class was dedicated to informing the European audience about the situation occurring now in Ukraine and its interconnection with the culture and urgent need to implement such projects as “My childhood”.
