“The Future of Ukraine is only in the European Union,” Arseniy Yatsenyuk at the opening of the 6th Kyiv Security Forum

He stressed that the Verkhovna Rada adopted several laws that bring Ukrainian legislation to European standards, “We are committed to our goals.”

According to Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Kyiv Security Forum is to become a tool in shaping the future: “We will form the future of the world and the future of Ukraine: our mind, our soul and whether we are ready to implement  real changes in our lives and the future of the world.”

The annual international event Kyiv Security Forum launched by Arseniy Yatsenyuk Foundation Open Ukraine in 2007 is a platform for debate on the most pressing security issues in Europe and the Black Sea Region. The aim of the Forum is to strengthen security cooperation between the European Union and the Black Sea Region, raising awareness about security development among key players, strengthening the role of independent and non-governmental actors in solving security problems in Europe.
The event is supported by the Victor Pinchuk Foundation, the Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation of the Marshall Fund (USA), NATO Information and Documentation Center in Ukraine and the Royal Institute of International Affairs (UK).
