The Open Ukraine Foundation supports the hosting of the literature festival in Lviv since it has a separate program for promotion of contemporary Ukrainian literature on the West - «Book Fund». As part of the program the grants are provided for translating contemporary Ukrainian literature intoyf foreign languages. So far, more than 20 translations have been published abroad with the support of the Foundation. These are the works by Sergiy Zhadan, Yuriy Andrukhovych, Yuriy Vynnychuk, Yevgeniya Kononenko, Maria Matios, Lyubko Deresh, Andriy Kurkov, Oksana Zabuzhko and other contemporary Ukrainian writers.
