“In life, the most interesting thing is life” - said once the famous writeraddressing his readers. His novel “Lviv Tour of Jimi Hendrix” where reality and fiction intertwine, where there is no boundary between reality and surrealism, is clear testament to that.
Andriy KURKOV – writer, screenwriter, author of over 20 books. With his scenarios were shot some twenty feature films and documentaries. Andriy KURKOV – the only post-Soviet writer whose books were in the top ten European bestseller, and his works translated into 34 languages worldwide.
Art Club “Faces”, established by Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation in partnership with creative place “Chasopys” – regular open meetings with Ukrainian and foreign writers, musicians, artists, designers, filmmakers, photographers and other cultural representatives. Literary readings, professional meetings, workshops, film screenings, musical evenings and exhibitions are held monthly.

13 December at 19.00 at the creative place “Chasopys” during the next meeting of the Art Club “Faces” Andriy KURKOV will tell the story of creation of the novel “Lviv Tour of Jimi Hendrix”. The author will show a slide show, which will immerse us into the atmosphere of work on the novel about Lviv and we will wander through mysterious ancient streets of this mystical city.
