Film director Alina Gorlova, who received the «Travel grant for artists» from the Arseniy Yatsenyuk Open Ukraine Foundation took part in the festival CPH: DOX, that took place on March 16-26 in Copenhagen (Denmark).

This festival is one of the largest and most influential documentary film festivals. Now organizers focus their action on the popularization of hybrid and VR-movie, so we can assume SPH: DOX as very actual.

«The competition I participated in was launched by the Tribeca Film Institute. Its aim was to invite 6 projects from Europe, where film directors are women. So I was invited to participate and present the draft of the new feature-length documentary film «Andrii Suleiman», that I'm going to shoot it in Ukraine, in the Donbas region. Although we did not get the main cash prize, it was an invaluable experience of playing for an international jury. Film professionals appreciated our project. I met with well-known producers, directors, and distributors,» - Alina Gorlova said.

In her opinion, she showed a high level of Ukrainian documentary and proved herself as a talented filmmaker within the festival.
